What is Financial Mess™ ?
Financial Mess™ is the original version of the educational game Chaos Financier™ (version en français) . This unique card game makes Quebec and Canadian taxation more accessible, understandable… and even fun 🎲
Designed for anyone who has ever rolled their eyes at a T4 or a Relevé 31, this game aims to transform confusion into clarity, and fear of taxes into power.
Who is the game for?
Financial Mess™ is designed to:
- Young adults who want to learn how to manage their finances
- Newcomers to Canada
- Parents who want to explain taxes to their teenagers
- Teachers, speakers, social pedagogy enthusiasts
- And… anyone who has ever gotten a little thrill from receiving an email from the CRA 👀
Why does this game exist?
Because the rules of the tax system are not taught in school.
Because too many people are afraid to ask questions.
And because it's time to demystify the language of forms with humor, strategy, and inclusivity.
